DO YOU WANT HORSES IN YOUR LIFE???

What about having the pleasure of taking a soothing, relaxing horseback ride on a beautiful day?  Most importantly, YOU can have access to one or more horses to enjoy, and we are a gateway to the southern end of the Ocala National Forest, with all of their interesting activities.  The Adopt A Horse Club is home to rescued and rehabilitated gaited horses of all ages.  Currently there are 14 horses living on the farm.  We are proud to have serviced thousands of people, and 100’s of horses from our central Florida location.

Congratulations!

I've got news for you, there are ALTERNATIVES to the very expensive, time consuming, hobby or job, depending on how involved you want to get.  The “work” can be turned into play, the out of pocket cost, and the time spent, can be cut way down!  Adopt A Horse Club could be the closest thing to owning a horse that you can do.  A Single Membership is only $15.00 a year, and a Family Membership is just $25.00 per year!!!  We are conveniently located in central Florida in the Southeast corner of Marion County by the intersection of Highway 42 and County Road 452.  Our 13 acre farm is adjacent to the beautiful Ocala National Forest between the towns of Weirsdale and Altoona.  Our facility is only 12.9 miles east of the intersection of US Highway 441/27 and Highway 42 (south of Ocala, north of Leesburg, and east of The Villages).

The farm is open every day of the year and our hours are changed for winter and summer.  Flexible times are available too.  You may also visit our facility as early as 7:30 AM to observe horse behavior in their natural herd setting till dusk.

With your annual membership you are helping to provide care for one horse for one day.  Members can gift extra time or money for rides.  This is crucial to offset the $10,000 minimal cost per year of each horse to purchase feed, maintain the facilities, repair equipment and fences, and keep the animals available to the members and their friends.  Members are encouraged to give hands-on involvement caring for these wonderful horses.

Even if you don’t live nearby to visit, you should know that your membership and/or gifts are extremely important in keeping these horses safe, healthy, happy, and well cared for as our program is open to people all over the world.  Please rush your membership fee as quickly as possible and spread the word to all your friends and family so they can help too!

Thank You to:

Dan's Discount Feed and Fence

PH: 352-669-7253

For all the people that wish to send funds directly to the feed store for the horses (Our unpaid bill is still over $4000.00), Dan’s Discount Feed and Fence has been extremely helpful and has set up an account where they will accept your mailed check, or call them direct to use a credit card (352-669-7253) on behalf of the horses needs here at the club.

Just to feed the horses for a year, the total is approximately $18,000.00. We have never before been in this desperate a situation, we have had some hard times, but nothing to compare to how things are now!!!!

Please help if it is not a hardship for you or the family you support.
